Game of Thrones should not be read when hyper

I’ve been spending the really sunny days recently getting burnt and reading Game of Thrones. (in fact I actually got a tan at first but it turned into sunburn whose skindoes that seriously?). I wanted to read game of thrones before I started watching it, but I’m still only a third of the way through the book and want to watch the programme. It’s so good! I want to try and finish it by the end of the week, so I can watch the first series and catch up, hopefully I’ll be caught up by the time the second series ends.

So I finished my degree…

Handed in my last assignment this morning, I’m pretty sure I didn’t actually answer the question though. It’s annoying that my last ever assignment is probably going to turn out to be one of the worst I’ve ever done, but the question did not make sense I swear!

Anyway, now I have to get used to the fact, that there is officially nothing for me to do at all. It’s an odd feeling, I keep thinking “Well I’ll watch this then write 500 words” before I realise there are no words I have to write because I am free!! The only words I have to write are words that I want to. Which means I will have a lot more time to rewatch being human from the first series…my dreams are not that grand really. The only thing I have to do is wait for my results…whatever they may be.

I feel all grown up and strange…

I handed in my dissertation this morning, so there is nothing I can do about all the mistakes I made now. It’s due in tomorrow, but I’m glad I got it in early, as it means I can have a break before my other assignments are due in - I have two left before I’ve finished - because the department screwed them up though, we had a meeting this morning - really? 24 hours before the deadine what did you think that would acheive? - the department didn’t really take any of our complaints into consideration though, and most of us ended up more angry than before - although one of my friends did get an extension because their supervisor basically just ignored them, but that’s a bit late isn’t it? Surely something should have been done before now, if I was her I would have left it and said no I want to hand it in now, but be given an extra mark or something. But anyway, enough complaining…the meeting made me feel like I was in a proper grown up situation discussing important things, I don’t think I like it, so I’m going to eat vast amounts of sugar to prove to myself I am still in fact a child and always will be…even if I’m nearly 21.
